'Snow at Mukojima' by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). This woodblock print was created posthumously from the original blocks. It looks even more amazing in person, and we just love how it all came together.

Downtown ArtWalk: New Logo & Postcard!

We just designed a new logo and postcard for the revamped Downtown Washington ArtWalk. They'll take place on 2nd Thursdays during the months of Feb/May/Aug/Nov (beginning on November 10th, 2011). The postcards are printing now! They will be available to pick up next week at the galleries, visitor's center, hotels, and other venues.

Since moving back to North Carolina, Kelly has not only been inspired by her past experiences in the state, but of the new start upon returning. She has fallen in love all over again.

You don't see these everyday. We were recently asked to frame 4 lithographs from the 1600's! They were from a 1657 edition of Homer's epic poem, Iliad. This is an example of one of them; we think they turned out great!

Now Available! 'Instincts' series by Neil Loughlin

On Friday night, January 29th, we had an opening reception for 'The Excursion' (new works) by Andrew Daly. We had a great time, there was an excellent turn out, and the snow set in just as the last guests were leaving.
The show will be up until March 20th, so please stop by when you have a chance!

Andrew hails from Hillsborough, NC and received his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University. With his undergraduate portfolio, he was awarded a full scholarship to study printmaking, at the graduate level, at Clemson University. We are featuring his most recent works.
